REFLOATING SHIPS
REFLOATING SUNKEN PUSHER "MICHAELA"
Floating sunken barge "NIMAS" under the flag of Croatia, Agigea waterway
Client: MARIO – MIL TRANS s.r.o. Serbia
Execution period: February 14 - April 19, 2024.
The work involved a complex and staged refloating operation of a general cargo barge, 72.92 meters long and 7.71 meters wide, using multiple underwater technologies specific to commercial diving activities. The services and procedures performed included inspection operations, sealing, removing water from sealed compartments, and raising the vessel to the surface with the help of balloons and parachutes and transport to the berth for collection by the owner. The ship has now been fully recovered and handed over to the owner. The complexity of the work performed and the recognition of professionalism by the client encouraged our company to undertake further projects in this field successfully.
