DAMS UNDERWATER WORKS
STRÂMTORI FIRIZA DAM

Client: UZINSIDER GENERAL CONTRACTOR SA Bucharest.
Execution period: May – November 2022.
The work involved performing complex and gradual operations using multiple underwater technologies specific to commercial diving works. The services and procedures included complex uncapping using airlift, removal of objects with the help of parachutes and cranes, and removal of protective gratings of supply wells using underwater cutting, welding, grinding, and drilling tools. The subsequent stage involved sealing the adduction holes by installing large cofferdams for cleaning and repair operations at the installations in the adduction complex. The final stage involved removing the cofferdams and installing new protective grilles at the inlets. The complexity of the work done and the recognition of professionalism by the client motivated our company to approach the next projects in this field successfully.
